I played hockey earlier tonight and after the game there was me and 2 other guys left. The 2 other guys were already in the shower when I got in, when I enter the shower I started getting a semi-hard for no reason. I take shower with other guys after sports since I was 14, I never had any attraction to boys and it’s the first time it happened to me so I’m wondering why it happened.

well you can try to think unsexy thoughts, but I got to be honest with you; we do not always get to control when boners are going to happen. I guess one thing you might be able to do to help is try jacking off that morning or sometime before you even go to the locker room to suit up for the game if possible. that can sometimes help. even then, there is no gurantee

for me when it happens (not like I really care if it does or not) I usually turn the water on clod first to give my body a shock and that gets rid of my erection immediately, so you might want to try that, but other than that I wouldnt stress it, its normal

I understand you wanting to keep the load for your gf. trying to hide it will bring more attention to yourself. personally, I do my best to ignore it and realize it is a part of life. I try to think of something nonsexual but realize it is puberty and I know I get boners at different times throughout the day, even when I am not thinking about something sexual at all. it is part of being a guy, your teammates have to deal with the same thing

The more you think about it, the more likely it is to happen, so try to forget all about it. Don't try to think specifically unsexy thoughts, just think about something else all together and it'll probably be fine.

There's a good chance it would have happened whether the other guys were there or not. Seems to happen in the heat of the shower, after exercise to a lot of guys, especially if you're rubbing and stimulating all over your body when you wash.
Even if you did get slightly turned on by the situation this one time, it doesn't mean you're gay.

I had a date later that night so I didnt jack off cuz I was expecting sex (didnt happen her parents came home early). When it happen again the day after and I was fully hard it was 3 days since last time I came it was probably part of the reason.
