It just happened and it stopped bleeding completely (there was only a little blood in the first place) but it's wide open and won't close. What does that mean and what should I do?

I'm sorry if this is triggering or against the rules im not encouraging anything I know what I did was wrong but I need help. Just tell me what I should do

Go to your doctor or the hospital to get it checked out. It could become infected or cause issues later on

once again Jordan is correct. if the cut is as open as you say it is, you will want to go to at least the doctor, though if it needs to be stitched up he will send you to the hospital. even if it is not bleeding it could still become infected or whatever. i would do it sooner rather than later

Is it yellowish or more white? If it's yellow then it means you've cut down to fat which really requires medical attention. However from what you've described it sounds like I've been in that situation many a time and usually I just wrap it up as I would a shallow cut. As a general rule if you can pinch the skin together and it closes then just wrap it up but if it doesn't close at all and/or it's deeper than 6mm then it might be elegible for stitches.

I'd suggest disinfecting it or at least cleaning it with antiseptic around the outside. Use gauze or whatever you usually do and although it might take up to a couple months to completely heal I've never had any problems with mine (and I take fuck all care of them, not that you should too).

WHOAH WHOAH WOHAH! Calm down guys. All you need to do is clean it with Hydrogen Peroxide to kill any bacteria in it, and put Neosporin or something of the sort to keep bacteria out. then cover it with gauze or a band-aid (depending on the size of the cut)

Yeah, I'd say if you're really worried go to the doctor. Otherwise just use a disinfectant and wrap it up.

Try washing it out, put antibiotics (neosporin) and maybe a bandage. If it's a fresh cut it won't close right away. If the cut has a red outline along the cut it's infected and pus will develop. Antibiotics are what you should try first
