So today was my first ever proper exam and I was quite prepared and ready but when I got in to that silent echoing hall my heart stopped. I sat down and started my essay and grew gradually more and more nervous. I started shaking and breathing faster and shorter. Then to my amazement my left non writing hand went numb and my lips too . Finally gave up and raised my hand to get some fresh air (or I'd collapse) but when I came back 5 minutes latet I felt a new sense of confidence and finished my exam. Why was I going numb???
