Okay, so my girlfriend was recently put on the birth control pill by her mom, so I thought: "Hey sweet". But as it turns out, her mom still doesn't want her having sex with me. So I started thinking, what is the point of her being on birth control if her mom is making sure nothing is happening? Sounds like a waste of money to me.

You do realize that if teens want to have sex they'll find a way. Which isn't that difficult

Not if you live half and hour away and your parents keep tabs on you constantly. Trust me, I've tried

Can you help me figure out a way? I'll give any information you need (to a certain extent):)

Birth control can be used to regulate periods and lessen cramps etc. as well so that could be the reason. I guess her mum just wanted to be safe, just incase you got round the 'don't fuck my daughter' clause xD

because she knows that you guys will probably end up having sex anyway, doesn't trust you or her to be responsible enough doing it, and figures that the pill will at least prevent a pregnancy. you should take the hint and not screw her daughter. how old are you, btw? before you start planning ways to bone in secret, remember the possible legal consequences of doing so if her mom finds out. parents don't take kindly to this stuff.

Ok, glad to see an argument from the other side of the coin. :)

I might be wrong, but birth control pills stop menstration from happening every month so no bleeding or cramps or other scary period stuff.

Correct.
But honestly, teens can and will find a way to have sex without getting caught. Without going into too severe of storytelling, I once engaged in sexual contact with my ex, at his house, with his door wide open while his parents were in the living room like 50 feet away. They never even noticed

Unless you're married, you should not be having sex.

Correct.
Um, incorrect. There are forms of birth control that stop your period but they are invasive and often have a shit ton of side effects.
Birth control is used to regulate the hormones in a biological female's body. It can lessen menstrual cramps, regulate the timing of periods, and lessen the flow of them, and yes, prevent pregnancy. They are, however, only about 98% effective in most cases. When in doubt, use another form of birth control as well, like a condom.
But it doesn't stop your period from happening. Trust me, I am just as miserable once a month as I always have been even since starting the birth control, but slightly less so.
That being said, her mother could have got it for any number of reasons. I use it not to prevent pregnancy 'cause uh, I don't like sex with dudes so no issue there, but to help with my face breaking out and the fact that periods in general are a miserable torture on a 28-day cycle. So that's basically your answer.
Just because someone is on the pill doesn't mean it's for sex. It has other medical uses. But yeah, it's probably a good back up because horny teens will be horny teens. Still, if she's not allowed to have sex yet or doesn't want to, don't push it just because she's using birth control.

Oh, okay. I know it reduced the cramps and such but I didn't know to what extent.

Why don't ya ask her?
"Hey Mrs. 'Whatever'
So if we're not allowed to hump like bunnies, then why make her take the pill?"

I don't think really it's that I'm not trying hard enough exactly, but that I want my first time to be special, (because we are both virgins) It's hard to make a first time special if you have to make it a quickie while watching to make sure nobody's coming...you know what I mean?

The pill regulates periods and makes them lighter too. It's not all about you.

I didn't refer to God at all, I'm not sure why you bring that up.
Even in the pill, she could get pregnant and you could have a kid, thus why you shouldn't fornicate.

Well, I dont think like that. I know several girls on the pill who "fornicate" and no issues have ever risen.

Period control, or extra precaution. Those are the only two explanations. Or she's rich and wants to try them out, but hey, what are the odds of that? :P
