Well... that sucks, and sorry for it happening to you. But on the bright side, take it as a learning experience. Don't ever put hope into something again that is already taken by another person... hmm... I don't like how I worded that, but whatever, hope you get it. Another thing, you should be somewhat glad that he didn't dump her because that just shows that he doesn't seem to care as much about you as you care about him, hence you wouldn't have been very happy if he would have just broken up with her and went to you.
