So im pretty sure sleeping with no shirt on is totally normal, and maybe even full nude but my mom caught me w/ no shirt and said she thought it was weird. Does anyone else do this?

I can't sleep with a shirt on. just way too uncomfortable. whenever I can, I am sleeping in just my underwear and even sometimes nude. I do not know what men your mom has ever talked to growing up or what, but it is perfectly normal for guys to sleep shirtless, in just underwear, or even nude

your actually ment to sleep with the least amount of clothes on. having clothes on can cause your body to not relax as much during sleep and so you dont get a proper nights sleep

Anyway Just tell her you have trouble sleeping with it on and it is too constricting. Meaning it is just in the way as you sleep. I prefer no clothes for that exact reason. When it's cold outside I wear sweatpants and 80% have no shirt on.

I was just watching that show Degrassi. They showed a guy named Miles in bed late when he was supposed to be driving his brother and sister to school. His Dad came and ripped the covers off of him showing him in nothing but boxer shorts. He got yelled at for skipping school, being late and not being cleaned up, but his Dad didn't say a word about what he was sleeping in.

I think it is normal to sleep comfortably. For some it would be shirtless, others would be nude, others pjs. It is up to you to define your comfort. Me, comfort is nude.

Is this the first time your mother has seen you shirtless? Or were you shirtless before that? This is probably why she thinks it was weird to catch you shirtless. As said above, it's fine to sleep shirtless. I sleep shirtless when it gets really warm and I wear a shirt/pajamas when it's cooler.

Your mom may have the idea that guys should sleep in something. I sleep in pj's in winter when it's cold, gym shorts/t-shirt as it warms up, & gym shorts only or nude in warmer months. Read all the answers & try to educate your mom.

I do not see anything weird about this at all. I typically only sleep in underwear, unless its exceptionally cold in my house / outside then I will wear a t-shirt. But most of the time I sleep without one.

I would imagine most guys probably sleep shirtless although I have one friend who never does since he gets so cold. me I sleep nude and although usually the door to my room is shut sometimes ive slept that way when it hasn't been and it's no big deal since i'm usually buried under the covers!!

Depends on your living conditions.. Do you have a separate room? If yes, there shouldn't be any issue sleeping shirtless. It might get weird if you share your room with any female.. Like your parents or sister. Even then, I have friends who sleep shirtless.
Personally, I just wear boxers to sleep.

I always sleep shirtless. I got too hot and sweaty with one on. By thinking it as weird, she probably just thought it was out of your usual routine. Although personally I have trouble sleeping nude due to the fact that I immediately get a boner and have trouble ignoring it.

Just varies for me - but you can just decide each night and if you wake up and wnat to put on/take off shirt then do so. sleep is important and sleep how you are most comfortable.

Its not a big deal..........Till I was 14 my mom used to take my pants off leaving me in my briefs when I fall asleep.....Few times whn I was lyk 10-12 whn she has taken my pants off while I was asleep in my bed....noticing that my undies are dirty she has taken them off too....I remember once or twice my older sis saw me and joked me.......This thaught me a lesson......Now I just take my pants and tee off and sleep in my undies and tank top but never totally nude.

It depends on the person's perspective. At lot of people I know sleep shirtless or in their underwear. I don't, but how you sleep is pretty normal.
