Should I shave my pubic hair or not? And if so how should I do it (especially to avoid getting cut)?

It's up to you whether or not you shave it. If you like it keep it, if you don't shave it. When I shave it I use shaving foam to lessen the itch but it will always be there nonetheless. I hope this helps :)

I've tried shaving mine and I didn't cut myself, just don't do it too hard and you should be good.

Up to you. I'd say go for it, I love shaved guys and being shaved myself. And as for the technique, it's not that hard to go about it. I have only cut myself twice and that was my fault anyways. Doesn't hurt. But just use a 4-5 blade if you're going manual.

Should you shave or not? That's up to you man. It's not our body, it's yours.
Whatever you feel most comfortable and confident with, is what you should choose.
To shave, just get a manual razor, and some good shaving cream. And go slow and steady to avoid any cuts. Take a shower prior to shaving which helps the hair shave off easier. And either flush your pubic hair down the toilet, or just trash it, as bathroom trash cans are changed often.

I've seen here where some guys itch after shaving, I've shaved since I was 12 & I'm 16 and have never itched.

Like Meh Guy, I prefer shaved guys & I trim/shave my pubes and love shaving my balls, perineum & ass. I'm also a swimmer and do my legs & pits too. I'm just a totally smooth dude and I love it.

It's up to you about that. I say try it, it'll grow back if you're not happy with it. You can trim/shave or shave your pubes, but please don't neglect your balls & ass, do those too.

Shaving cream & multi-blade razor. Take your time, don't hurry. If you're going to trim/shave your pubes, get comb & scissors and shorten the length first. Then with cream & razor, shape your pubes like you want them.

With scissors, cut off as much ball hair as you can so the razor won't get so clogged. It will anyway and you'll have to rinse it a lot but get rid of as much hair as you can. When you rinse you have to run a finger on the blades in the direction of the blades, to get the hair out. Grasp each ball one at a time, make the skin smooth and shave. You'll have to go over the areas several times to get the skin smooth. Then take both balls in one hand and go over wherever you missed. Go below your scrotum and shave there to where it meets your ass. If you want to shave your butt, you can do it by feel. No big deal. Or put a hand mirror on the floor and squat down over it so you can see and shave it.

yes you should no one likes hair down there if cuting yourself is your biggest worry just use a electric shaver like i do

As to whether or not you should do it. That is completely up to you. Personally I wait to get a boner to have no loose skin and then run cold water in the shower on my balls to accomplish the same thing.

You have to keep up with it which is why I just trim. Easier that way. Lazy for a day or two? It looks the same! If you shave you really need to do it every day.

there's no "should" - if you want to, do it. I use an electric razor and shave with the direction of the hair, and if you're gonna shave your balls try and do it when they're tight. good luck!

I prefer trimming to shaving. When you shave, it becomes itchy and you could get ingrown hairs.

Hey I waited years to finally get pubic hair part of being an adult male, I see no reason to go back... If you have really thick or long hairs then trim them. Enjoy having pubes and you have better things to do then trying not cut yourself, get a rash or ingrown hair

Well, depends on whether you like it or not. Trim it first, very short, see if you like it or not. If so, wait a day or two, just to be sure you like it. Trim it as short as possible, everywhere, where you want to get rid of hair. Pull the skin beneath the hair taut, then use a wet razor. This is best done after a hot shower/bath. Then keep doing it, make sure not to allow the razor to stay clogged. follow these, and be careful, and you shouldn't cut yourself

I tried shaving my balls and up my shaft a little because it gets annoying and I have heard that it looks good so I thought I would try. But I realized I would have to shave every day so it wouldn't be stubbly. I plan on just shaving my shaft tonight and just trimming the rest. I think shaving balls requires too much up keep and I will probably let me balls go natural and just trim. Just to let you know I have a good amount of pubic where it starts to go to my ass but I have no going to my belly button.

take your time, go nice and slow. it will itch at least the first time or so but you will get used to it. if you shave it all off it will take awhile for it to grow back. I have shaved mine but I do not have tons of hair down there anyways
