The computer will say it is limited until you sign in, your computer may need a bit of extra help from you to find the sign in page

Type in one the IP address that matches your router brand and see if it will let you sign in, it will start with 192 on most routers, but on an Apple router, or Speedtouch router it starts with 10.

you type it in like a normal URL so instead of www.virtualteen.org (http://www.virtualteen.org), you would type in for example, 192.168.1.8 or whatever the IP is your typing in.

Here is a list of IP Addresses by router brand, if your brand has more than one IP adress listed, just go ahead and try them all. it wont harm anything.

I'll take a wild guess and assume you're using Windows 8.1 on that shiny Asus laptop
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Open cmd with admin rights (Windows key + x + a)
type in: netsh int ip reset C:\resetlog.txt
reboot and try again. It should work fine if you didnt screw up anything else while trying to solve the issue.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If in case this method does work for a while but the problem persists, then you gotta wake up your router if thats the case:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Windows key + W
type in: network and sharing center
Click on the name of your Wi-Fi network and choose the Properties button in the lower left corner under.
In the Wi-Fi Properties window click the Configure button.
Then pick the last tab called Power Management and you’ll see this option:
Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
If its checked, uncheck it, click OK and then login to your computer again to confirm the fix.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
if that doesnt work, reset TCP/IP autotunning
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Again, windows key + x + a
type in these:
netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled
Restart
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Lemme know what works
