Ok so this is only my second period and my first one lasted 3 days but this one... I'm on my 5th day and it's still quite heavy :( tomorrow is New Years eve and I will be with my boyfriend and I really want to be able to do stuff :( how can I make my period end earlier? Like any natural remedies? Thank you so much !!

contractions can help push the fluid out faster, and i've heard that taking Ibuprofen can help too (ask your doctor first). don't know about natural remedies, sorry :P

btw, you have the rest of the year to "do stuff".

I've always thought that it's best just to let nature take its course. Your first few periods might be quite erratic until your body finds a good rhythm (if that's the right word :P )

Mine usually last about 5 days

Hopefully that helps you. Try not to be down if you don't get to do stuff with your boyfriend - you have the rest of the month to do that.

If it's that close to new years, there's not much you can do about that, but for future times, there is always consulting your doctor about going on a certain pill which works for you.

Keep in mind this doesn't necessarily mean it will be able to change your cycle. If you're only just starting, it can take up to a year to get it regular, so I believe you should let it do it's own thing. Using the pill would help more for those people which only get it every 3 months, if they bleed for 2 weeks, anything which isn't usual, but you normally only do so if it's a regular thing (unless you have irregular periods). Keep in mind anything from 3-7 days is normally regular.

So wait I'm saying here all in all, hold it out for now, it may just be your body trying to balance itself out and if it's still bad after about....6 months, consult a doctor.

Sorry I can't help out too much, but I hope that works for you. c:

You just have to let nature take it's course
