my personal preference is all natural, but trimmed if his all natural is like an amazon forest because that's just really annoying to deal with. but honestly, it doesn't matter to me. if he shaves it or trims it way down or dyes it or what the hell ever, i don't care. i'm getting dick and that's all i care about.

This exactly. Clean is the only way I care about.

I don't really have an expectation of one way or another, but in my opinion a trim is the easiest to deal with and most attractive to look at.
