My mum says she might have to give me a suppository tomorrow as I havnt
Been for 3 days. My friend and I were planning to have sex tomorrow too for new year. Will he be able to tell I have had a suppository and will it make any difference to us having sex tomorrow.
it is embarrassing and I really don't want him to know

I really don't think anyone here on VT is qualified to answer this TBH. Ask a doctor.

I'm not fully sure, but I think a suppository only takes an hour or so to be fully absorbed, so I don't think you have to worry.

When you say "you haven't been" I guess you mean that you haven't been able to have a bowel movement?
So...you are constipated and the suppository is intended to stimulate you to poop. That should all happen within a few minutes after it has been inserted; assuming the suppository will in fact work. (They don't always work for me)
So....I guess I don't really understand what all that has to do with you having sex afterward....
Do you get constipated often?

Yeah suppository happen is lyk 1/2 hr...I was lyk 10 when I got really constipated once...my mum took me to a local doc who got his young nurse to insert an suppository ...Then doc adviced that I ride home in the car just in my undies cos the supp might work in lyk 30 min. I protested cos its embarrassing to walk out of the crowded clinic w/o my pants but my mom got me to obey.......and I sat in on a sheet in the car to protect the car seat in case..
Tho embarrassing, undie idea was good cos poo happened really fast and I could not hold it...by the tym we reached home I had poo in my briefs..

Suppositories melt and then are released with or before your bowel movement, which should happen within the hour, if it works. The suppository will come out either way. There'll be no evidence of it being there at all, except hopefully the lack of constipation.
