Recently, I've been thinking I might be Pansexual instead of Bisexual, it had simply never crossed my mind that the other person might have a different gender identity to the two I'm uses to. And I realised, I don't really give half a shot what there gender identity is, be they male, female or trans.

But for some reason, In was perfectly OK with the idea of being BI, perfectly comfortable with it, even happy about it, but oddly, the idea I might be Pansexual is making me extremely uncomfortable. I don't know why, is there any easy way to come to terms with your sexuality? To accept it more easily?!

I'm uncomfortable with my sexuality, autochorissexual, because it's practically unheard of - so I call myself asexual, which is pretty similar. There isn't a very big difference between bi and pan (well if you want to get technical there is a difference but whatever) so if you're uncomfortable with the label of pansexuality, you can just keep calling yourself bi.

As a pansexual myself, I can openly say that accepting your sexuality is one of the most rewarding things one can do. I know it's confusing because you realize that when your bisexual your attracted to both sexes but when your pan, you really don't care what gender that person is. You sorta fall in love with that persons mind and spirit. Ignore people that try to force their opinion on you. You're trying to accept yourself. You're not trying to fit into society's idea of what's right and wrong. Once you come to terms with that, you'll be content with your sexuality the same way you are with what ever color eyes you have.

Tbh, I'm uncomfortable with bisexual
Lesbian is awkward to explain in my scenario
Pansexual doesn't fit right
I get laughed at when I say asexual

I don't know of a label for my sexuality, and I don't know that I ever will.

Tbh I think you should go by what you feel most comfortable with- plenty of people who are interested in trans* people identify as bisexual

I think the best option right now is to just say "fuck labels! Fuck you sexuality! I'm me! Deal with it!"

This is just me speaking so take it as a grain of rice or whatever lol.

Sometimes depending on the situation, I can refer to myself as being pansexual.

Bisexuality and Pansexuality to me are the same thing. You are attracted to more than one gender. Whereas homosexuality is attraction to the same gender and only the same gender. And hetereosexuality is attraction to the opposite gender only.

It just gets merged in with bisexuality though lots of times. I don't know man. It's kinda not well known and barely just got recognition as being a sexual orientation.

The reason why it gets debatable and confusing for me is that a transexual person now goes by a different gender and they want to be treated as that gender so in a way it's bisexuality. I am attracted to a trans person but I'm attracted to them as a person not because they are trans and I like other guys and girls as well.

Soooo....because its small...and doesn't get much recognition we should simply obliterate it from the face of the earth? *slow clap* Your really not giving any useful input.

I think you're fine as long as it's not actually happening. If it's happening, go with what your heart (or any other organ) is telling you. And change signature.

I agree with the "fuck labels" part which is kinda how I understand pansexuality anyway: You just like whoever you want. How I feel myself pretty much but more people understand bi so that's what I tell them. Do I think it fits me right? No, but it just is what it is.
