You need to trim it first before shaving or your just gonna get hair stuck in your razor and its not gonna get rid of your pubes.

As I've answered in another section, I'd use the one with more blades.

I recommend watching this video here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RAf0tzDbbA) because just shaving it off willy nilly isn't the most ideal thing to do.

Dont use cheap-o razors! Or dull razors. NUMBER ONE cause of razor burn and painful red bumps.
Its actually best to have two razors. First use Gillette "Bikini Trimmer" is best because its designed exactly for this purpose. No need to trim at all. it gets "fairly" close, but not down to the skin. - which is what you want.
Then, follow up with Gillette Venus "Embrace" (5 blade). If you can, get the model that vibrates. Its a little more expensive, but its even better cause it gets WAY closer without grabbing or pulling. You want to cut the hair away, not hank it out, which is what ALL the cheapo's do.
On the days your arent shaving or doing any serious touch up - Exfoiliate! Exfoiliate! Exfoiliate! This is the trick to remaining clean, absolutely soft and baby smooth, and preventing itch and ingrown hairs.
It takes about 2-3 weeks of shaving for your skin (epidurmis) to get used too being shaved. Be patient and don't stop. Once it does, all the common complaints about bikini area shaving go away and its like no biggie.
Hope it helps!
ps- this is the first time ive ever gave this advise to a boy! So standard disclaimers apply. :)

Thank you so much for your detail response, I will defiantly take exfoliation into consideration. The disposal one my parents have is Gillette. I don't shave as my facial hair in not think so I don't own razors. So is Gillette good?

If it's a Gillette mach3 then yea, its good.
If its one of the cheapo blue ones that come 10 in a bag, it's crap. It didnt occur to me yesterday that it might be awkward explaining why you need 'girly' razors (even tho they work best). If you can't get a good (new) mach3 or a Venus, then maybe you should put off shaving. you might hate the results and it might be uncomfortable for a while. But if you can - do the above. And exfoliation shouldnt be considered - it should be a must. Shaving is only half the work. Exfoliating is what gives you that babysmooth skin. I never understood why so many skip this step. Its the part that makes it all worthwhile. (to me at least).

Yeah, it'll be harder to get a close shave and may dull quicker. I'd suggest getting a 4-5 blade one, even a three blade one if your really in a pinch, just because I can vouch for those ones.
