Hello people. I'm completely new to vt so idk if this is in the right spot but I am kinda having trouble pinpointing my sexuality. I know that I don't need a label but this has been occupying my thoughts for quite a while. Anyway, when I was a few years younger I sort of experimented with some friends of mine (male) and I sometimes had feelings for other guys. I didn't really know it was gay or anything. In middle school I was interested mostly in girls, and even had a sort-of-girlfriend :metal:, but I started watching gay porn instead of str8 because I realized I was mostly interested in the penises :whoops:. Now I'm in high school and I'm extremely in love with my friend (male). He's just the best thing ever :wub:. So now I am back to questioning my sexuality and I think that since I've been interested in guys and girls before I think I'm bi. I would like to know what you guys think, as for some reason I just need to tell someone, possibly its the only way to stop thinking about it all the time. I'm thinking about coming out to one of my friends over text so I can test the waters (everyone I know is str8 as far as I know). Should I wait a little while? I just feel like I'm going to burst if I don't just tell someone. Sorry for the super long post I just need to vent a bit. Thanks :P

Also, coming out is completely up to you, and if you want to do it then go ahead.

In the end you like who you like. You can tell that person and see what they say... I have a friend like this that I'm really into but I know he's straight so I never mention it. Maybe tell this to a different very trusted friend and see what they think the guy you're attracted to will think or say?

To be quite honest, and I know that each person is different and they go through different experiences, but I was one of those guys that bounced from gay-bi-gay-confused-bi-etc. I would wait before "labeling" yourself and let yourself experience things first. And with that said, I also suggest against coming out until you've truly determined and are comfortable with whatever happens. Wish ya luck, and hope I helped.

hey man sounds like you might be bi and if you really wanna come out id say do it in person with the guy you trust belive me its alot better than doing it by text. im out to all my close friends and i dont really keep it a secret but i also dont tell people im bi unless they ask. hope this helps man and if you need to talk to someone im here

only you can make the final decision on who and what you are attracted to. that being said, if you feel the need to come out, it would be safe to say you are bisexual at most, but if you find later on down the line that you are attracted more to one than the other, you can always come out again. dont be in such a rush, you have time to figure things out and i would suggest you take the time to figure yourself out and what you really like.

Ok, so what's weird is that I'm not really very sexually interested in girls. I am however emotionally attracted to girls (for guys I think it's both). Is that normal? :whoops: haha

Emotionally attracted to girls romantically or platonically? Romantic and sexual orientations are two different things, and you might be biromantic homosexual.
