Long distance dating? Survey/advice

I kinda wanna date this girl that lives in another state because me and her know each other in real life since elementary school, she visited a couple of weeks back and thats how me and her started talking again, and we both like each other but I don't know if I want to date long distance. So if anyone has done long distance I have a few questions about it

How'd you feel about dating long distance?
How long did it last?
Did you ever cheat on the male/female you were with?
If you did cheat why?
If you did not cheat have you ever wanted to?
Did you guys ever meet up?

How'd you feel about dating long distance? I hate it. I may love the person, but GOD the distance hurts.
How long did it last? A year and a half for one, three or four months for the other

If you really love the girl, and if the girl really loves you, then go for it. Long distance relationships are all about effort, and how serious both of you are about it. I've seen many relationships last for a very long time that started online and are still either continuing in real life or ended in real life. Most people at a young age don't really understand love, and think in a fantasy land. This is why relationships fail usually in the teenage years when they date online, but I've seen teens who are in successful relationships that started online. It is rare, yes, and it is hard, yes. But it can also be very rewarding if both of you are willing to do it together.
