There has been a report that the plane might have crashed in the Eastern seas of Indonesia, East of Belitung to be exact. But it's still being investigated. I really hope the passengers are OK:(

Based on the info, and likely hood, they're all dead.

Let's try and not bash any airline here. As someone that know at least a bit on the subject, I can tell you most of the times these incidents are beyond the airline's controls. Even if they weren't, it's not okay to blame someone for something we till don't know the details of.

Even though it's unlikely, i hope everyone I okay

Not a good year for Malaysian based airlines. According to the news today there have been 7 major incidents involving planes this year. 3 of them have been based in Malaysia. As of approximately 7 hours ago, the fuel range for the plane would have ended, so one way or another, it's on the ground or water as the case may be. Hopefully there are survivors and if not, hopefully it all happened very quickly.

Actually, MA and AirAsia have no relation. What people meant to say is AirAsia operates out of Malaysia as one of Malaysia's largest airlines, but the two have no relation.

That being said, since they can't find any big hints concerning both disappearances, I believe there could be some extraterrestrial participation. Call me crazy, but what else could it be? The AirAsia one disappeared over shallow water! If they can't find anything, what could it be?

This is just horrible. I've actually been on MH17, same hour of departure, same airports but 3 weeks earlier.
I am not sure if these are accidents or not, but I'd rather not think about it too much.

it does seem rather unusual, but above all you have to feel bad for the friends and family who lost loved ones
