Hey guys,
Overnight it would seem as though I have gotten a spot about halfway up the back of my shaft on my penis. I'm kind of worried as it is kinda sensitive and hurts a bit if it gets touched. Are these normal to get? How do I get rid of it? I have also shown my mum since I was worried and she seems to think it is a normal spot, but I would also like a few extra opinions on here. It seems to be like a normal spot you would get on your face, so I am hoping it is similar to that, please let me know if it is normal or not.
Thanks,
Jack

Dosn't sound normal. It sounds just like it's a spot, but in a weird place, if it's still there in a few days, go to a doctor.

sorry to hear about that dude. my cousin had something like that and he told me it turned out being an ingrown hair, so no big deal.

I agree with Joe. It's probably a spot and definitely in a weird location. Just see a doctor.

That is a possibility.
Pimples/ingrown hairs on your penis aren't extremely common, but are possible. If it starts to change, grow, change color, or becomes too sensitive to touch I would see a doctor just to be safe.

I think it is normal to a certain extent. I mean, if you look closely at your junk, we all have little tiny white bumps all over our balls and penis. But as far as one big giant spot, no i dont think that is normal, i would go see the doctor for that

Could be a normal spot but in a somewhat strange place. When dealing with things like this around your pubic area, it's best to be safe rather then sorry. I'd suggest maybe using a cream or going to see a doctor.

Thanks guys, it seems to be going down, still kinda there, but it's only little really now, so it should be fine for now, but obviously I will keep an eye on it and probably go to the doctors if it gets worse again.

Normal spots are perfectly normal on the outside skin of the penis. It is also possible to get small bumps where a hair folicle is preparing to grow a hair for the first time.
You may have learned in sex-ed that syphilis starts with a sore on the penis, and that may be the cause of your worry, but if you look that up in Wikipedia there is a picture there that looks very different from a normal spot so unless your spot looks like the ones in the article I wouldn't worry.
