Hi everyone....

So.... Basically the title described this post. So, my I play tennis. My dad signed me up for a match that I played in today. I won, so I have to play tommorrow too.

My dad made a deal with me, before the match, and told me that if I won the entire tournament, he would get us a dog ,breed of my choice. I think I played a lot better since I had a motivation to win (having a dog has been my lifelong dream:). I won today against a younger player, who was okay, but not very good.

I'm playing the number one player tommorrow. I play really well during practice, but during matches I get incredibly nervous and can never stay focused. I always think that i'm going to loose and have to get another lecture from my parents. I always tense up and think I can't win. I just can't really help it.

Does anyone have any tips to help stay relaxed during a match, and help stay concentrated?

People forget to breath enough quite a bit. Any time I'm at bat or pitching, I take a deep breath in between each pitch or swing, it helps a lot

deep breathe, try to block out all the noise which is not needed and focus on the task at hand. get yourself in the zone before the game even starts

Welp, this went by unnoticed.
I just keep myself at a natural state, like I've done all whatever-I'm-doing before.
