So this girl I likes clearly likes me back. Signs like looking at me and flipping hair (the exposing neck hair flip) many times and then look to see if I am looking, her friends started to talk to me a lot and be nice to me, she starts conversations frequently and finds random reasons to talk with me and flirts with me, plays with/fixes/compliments my hair, etc. But the question is how do I get a good response from her. Like if I sit next to her on the bus and ask her how her day was I want to hear how her day went. Every detail of it because I care. If I ask how was your day and she just says good then it will be a no go conversation. if I said tell me about your day would that be better so she see's I want the details? How can I get her to tell me details so I can show interest? I suppose the way I ask it will change the response. I.E if I say how was your day then she will just say "good" however if I say "hey, NAME. Tell me about your day" she will give me more detail and I can express an interest.

Some people dun wanna tell others about their daily life details , even if it's a close person. But you can ask other questions to learn details indirectly. For example if she's been at school today , ask her : So what's new in your class room and stuff like that.
Hope to be a good help ;)

Your idea about asking what happened during her day is good, and I think you should try it. One other method I suggest is asking her about her hobbies, or any activities she enjoys doing and perhaps relating to them, or bringing them up when you talk to her. Maybe she is into music, and you can ask her if she's found any new songs she is really into. Knowing more about a person helps conversations start and continue. If you don't know much about a person, or don't have any common interests or even a common will talk, then you won't get anywhere.
Hope that helps :)
