Hey,

It's been a while since I've been active here. My life has completely changed since coming to uni but I still find it being influenced by my previous (regrettable life).

Alright, so to avoid any long stories, I don't drink (or rather, I just haven't been drunk). I won't lie, drunk people scare me and I get really worried about people. My knowledge about alcohol is non-existent. But they say uni life is about cheap booze and fun, so I thought why not?

Its taken me almost 3 months to come to this decision, and, its my last day here (and a few others) before Christmas, so it'll be a smaller environment (which is good because I'm not a fan of crowds bigger than about 4 people).

Basically, I feel bad about not being sociable and joining in with drinking. I made myself a promise that I'd become a new person at uni and I haven't really been throwing myself at such opportunities. So, with a good friend, I went out and bought 4 pint cans of fosters. Now, I have no idea how much that'll effect me since I've never been drunk and am not on completely solid foods. But I don't want to be too out of it since I've gotta pack the car and go home tomorrow (my dad will be picking me - I'm not driving). I'm just under 6ft and about 130lbs if that really matters.

TL;DR: I've never been drunk before, have no knowledge of alcohol but bought 4 pints of fosters. I don't really eat solid foods much. How much is this likely to effect me? Any suggestions of things to be weary of or must dos?

Thanks

Allow me to be blunt: that is stupid. If you're drinking just to fit in with a bunch of morons who can't be social without a pack of booze, it's dumb. You can be sociable without drinking easy. Just join your buddies in conversation while they're drinking, done. I really think it's a bad decision of yours and I advise you to change your mind
