I've noticed recently that a lot of people don't see the messages in songs. It gets really weird when I try to explain because well I don't like talking about those subjects hence music. Anyways next 2 questions, do you look for messages in songs? And what are some songs you listen to with messages in them

Absolutely all the time, I always look for the powerful and deep and meaningful messages in songs, I mean songs are a form of communication too, it's just delivered in a creative and peaceful way. I like listening to songs about life and love and being strong, I love the song 'this is me' by Demi Lovato~~

Always. Lyrics are most important for me.

I always look for a message, I hate songs without them, mostly.

Best messages are in socially concious music. Artists like, The King Blues, Scroobius Pip and Enter Shikari

I always look for meanings in songs. I really don't like the random crap that sometimes gets released that has no meaning in it at all.

Sorry, I listen first and foremost for the musicality. I even listen to Scientic whose lyrics are wayy to silly and leftist in my taste :P

My anaconda don't want none unless you got good song lyrics!

Seriously though, a song has to have some sort of meaning for me to listen to it. I can't just listen to anything that has a good beat.

Lol, people love that song! Even though it doesn't have much of a real useful and valuable meaning :P

I find meaning or emotion in instrumentals most of the time, as instrumentals are mostly what I listen to haha

Lyrics and vocals are normally secondary to me
