I already asked her and tried to compromise, but she wouldn't budge. Also, I am 17, so yes I'm old enough. I've had it with her.

At the end of the day it's just a video game and you are most certainly over-reacting. There are plenty more things you can do other than this and once you do that you'll begin to end this dependence on your games console.

Easier said than done I know but surely it's worth trying to change that, I mean you're not going to have your video games forever. It's always best to try and expand yourself as a person whilst you're young.

Anyway, I think you should help more around home, and "talk" with you mom like:
I will wash dishes and I can play an hour every 2 days or something like that, you know moms like us to help at home

Your mom carried you for 9 months, she raised you, she forbid you to play GTA V because she assume it can mess up your brain, wether it's true or not she did because she care about you. And you go on and say you hate her? Come on.

To be fair, seeing how harshly you react to such ridiculously trivial things, maybe it's for the greater good she took this game away from you. Why not playing some Rayman Origins? It's great fun too and you can even invite your mom to play with you.

I see, well.. You will need to grow up in a certain way.
Why don't you ask her to talk and to explain you what happens, what do you need to do in order to be able to play a little a day or a week? Have you done that?
