I've been thinking about religion for a while. I was a buddhist and I was so positive that I would be a buddhist. Then I became an agnostic for a bit because I started thinking that religion was hopeless and it was just trying to give us a purpose. Now I am thinking about becoming a Christian because I have been inspired by reading my bible. It's all so confusing. I feel like every choice I make now is a waste of time. Like if I went to watch anime or play video games it would just be a big waste of time. Yet I want to do something. In short, I want something to do but when I go to do something it feels pointless. So really I have two problems, boredom and religious confusion. Any help?

Many people experiment with things and the thoughts they had of it before, changed when they actually gave it a try. The same could be said to when people already in their mind starts to think something is going to be terrible, they actually end up liking it and their whole attitude about it changes.

As long as you're comfortable and having fun, you're not hurting anybody or yourself, then it shouldn't bother you. Take some time to do things for leisure fun, and also take some time for your education and for your work. Try to make sure you have an equal social and education life. I agree it isn't wise to do things for fun all the time and there should be a moment to where you need to focus on your priorities, but take a hour everyday or so to do something you enjoy for just the benefit of pleasing yourself.

In regards to religion, this is a subject that I myself currently have issues upon. It is best to just find a religion to which you think you can honor their values and principles. I would suggest that you do more research on religion that should set your mind. Go to church and see what the people are like and get an understanding there. I wish you the best and stay safe. :)
