First of all, don't feel discouraged. I'm sure you can get better grades if you try harder. I would just hide my report card, but that wouldn't solve anything. Your only choice here is to confront them. I'm not really sure how you're going to go about doing that, seeing how you're so hesitant to do so. My parents don't really care what grades I get, but mine are always pretty decent.

My dad goes mad every time I got the report card, I got F's 2 and the best way is asking for help thats works for me, Im in middle school so grades are not that important right now.

if you need help be honest and say so. say you are honestly doing your best but you need extra help. hopefully they will be understanding enough to help get you that extra help

My parents used to be like that when I was in middle school. Once I got to high school I knew I had to get good grades for college and it became my responsibility.
What did you get an F on? A test? An assignment? An overall class grade? If it's one of first few then I'd say you don't need to tell them and just work hard to make up for the grade. If it's an overall class grade I'd just tell them if they are going to find out eventually and explain to them why you are struggling, and be honest with them. Also maybe try to get some tutoring.
Parents want to see you take responsibility so if you show them that you care about your grade and tell them what you're going to do to get better then I think they'd be proud.
Remember, you will never be judged by how much you fail, only by what you do with those failures and how you handle them.

My parents always check up on our school work but as long as we are trying they don't care what grades we get. My middle brother gets low grades in math and spelling sometimes. We are supposed to tell them if we are having problems with something and then they can help us. We would get punished though if we don't do homework or don't study for a test.
For me it would be risky to not tell my parents something like that because if they found out I would be in trouble for not telling them. IDK if that is true for you. My parents always want us to be honest with them. I try but its hard sometimes if you know you are gonna get a punishment. Good luck to you. What do you think you will do?

Even better then, just think though, could have been worse if you didn't tell them at all.

As lomg as it is not happening regularly just tell them. They won't be happy but you can promise to learn better the next time

The other good thing about telling them the truth is they will start to trust you more.

My school posts our grades online and my mom checks like ALL the time. everything is there. homework assignement grades, test grades, quiz grades. There is no hiding place for us! I only wish she would stop harping on me to do extra studying!!! I only want to do whats assigned and NOTHING ELSE.

Haha, I remember when I was in high school we had our grades online as well, but I always had good grades so my parents never bothered checking.
