I think she has interest, but the fact that her experiences with other guys has been bad, I think you should wait. Even though she may not see you as the same as the other guys, it's just courtesy and respect to give her some time and then maybe after the new year you can ask her. But yes, to answer your question, it does seem like she has some sort of interest in you, and I don't think it would hurt to give it a shot at telling her how you feel... just not now though, for now just be there for her in her times of stress.
