Hopefully next year, if the petition is approved, I would be migrating to another country and stay there due to many family problems especially my dad who is into drugs and might put our family in danger. As early as now, I am thinking of saying farewell especially to my batchmates, classmates and friends but I do not want to since a tragic reaction will impress upon them. Yesterday and today I finally told them only to my classmates and the reaction was really tragic. They said that they would lose a good friend and a responsible classmate. I told them as well not to spread that word to the rest of my batchmates since the reaction will worsen. I am really moved with pity
for them and I do not know what to say to them. What should I do?

I feel that this is your decision, and with that there are going to be reactions to it. I can say that with the internet and such, it's very easy to stay in contact with people. Don't feel as though you are going to lose touch with friends and people you know. They might be upset that you are leaving now, but I'm sure eventually they will understand and they will move on. Tell everyone that you still appreciate them and that you will always remember them. Make choices for yourself, do what you think is comfortable. I wish you only the best towards this situation, I want you to be happy and understand that some people might feel sad towards this news. Just don't feel bad and you made your choice and don't lose in touch with them. :)

be honest. you have to move for your safety. you do not have to go into super details if you don't want to. let them know how much you care about them but you got to do what is best for you. get emails and stuff of people you want to stay in contact with.
