View Full Version : Friend Diagnosed with two types of cancer

My friend Skylar was just diagnosed with Skin and testicular cancer. They caught the testicular cancer before it spread and skin cancer is curable. Nonetheless, I do feel terrible for him... I think the only part of this that isn't super grim and terrible is that since he's gay, becoming sterile won't be a problem.

I wish him all the luck!! Good thing it's able to be cured. Hopefully he'll be out of there in no time!

Even if he's gay, being sterile may be some what of a blow to his self esteem or man hood, when I was on meds (that made me temporally sterile when I was one them, for 6 months) the simple fact that I was sterile made me feel a little bad about myself, that may or may not effect him but it's something.
I wish him the best of luck thankfully the prediction is good, since the testicular has yet to spread, and the skin is curable, but it must be hell for him.
