Strange Internet Problem... Help?

I would ask somewhere else, but seeing that only this site, YouTube and Facebook works, and for some strange reason other sites don't work I am putting faith in you guys. My internet connection works... obviously since I am posting here, but whenever I try to go to other sites such as Skype.com or Nascar.com I get a "this page is not available" error.

I tried to do a troubleshoot, and I got this error:

"The remote device or resource won't accept the connection on port the world wide web service"

I tried to google it, and a lot of people have the same problem, but I am not even able to open any of the sites where possible solutions are listed. Any help?

Are you using internet explorer? Have you tried another browser and typed those sites into that?

Do you have any proxy settings on? Turns those off.

Have you reset the browser?

I did a hard reset on my router, and it seemed to fix it.

Yeah, I know, I am also changing internet providers though, because AT&T is slow, and I am changing to Comcast.

I've heard AT&T has been getting very poor ratings lately. Comcast seems to be going well from what I hear. Hopefully your internet problem doesn't come back!

So about a month has passed, and I can say that I am pretty satisfied with my new internet, am not getting any problems and speeds are way higher than they used to be with my old provider.
