Does Anyone Here Write Lyrics For Music??

I've been writing out some lyrics for songs for awhile now. I don't have like, full song length, lyrics but I've been writing some out. I was wondering if anyone here actually have, or do, write random lyrics for music?? Music is life, and without it, I'd be dead.(Not really :P )...

I've written a few songs before, but I can only seem to come up with them when I'm feeling really intense emotions.

I haven't written much in a while, but I used to write lyrics quite often. Once in a while I'll feel inspired and write down some lyrics/lines/words, though.

Yes! I've finished about fourteen songs, although I've completely scrapped four of them, partially scrapped one (which I hope to someday remake), and heavily rewritten three of them.
So I've actually got nine that I'd consider lyrically complete, as well as four or five unfinished ones that I like, and a ton of other little fragments I don't care much for.

I'd like to create some instrumental parts and record an album in the future.

Yes, but a lot of them are parodies that I think up off the top of my head, and never get a chance to write down.
