Hello everybody, recently I have come to like someone that is 3 years younger than me.. I am 16, she is 13. And i'm pretty sure she feels the same way about me it's just the fact that our age difference is so big. Now she really is above maturity levels of a typical 13 year old, but I just want some opionons on what you think about that.. Is it ok to try and have a relationship, or should I just let it go.

Depends who you ask... I think that that's cool and all, but I also think that if she's 13 and you're 16 you shouldn't.. Ugh.. Perform sexual acts that she's not comfortable with, or ask for it. I don't know.. It just seems odd.. I mean, 16 year olds look so much older than 13 year olds. But, yeah.. If you guys were adults it would seem more normal....

like Rowan said, just don't force anything upon her. It really all depends on how you feel. No one can help who they like, age or whatever. So I say if you think you both feel the same, go for it!

I'll just repeat what has been said, I think it's fine but don't rush anything onto her because you're probably more advanced than she is...even if you haven't actually done anything you probably know more. take it slow

I know how you feel Cheney, During the summer this girl, veronica, visits her aunt, my neibor, for a month or two. She is three and ahalf years younger than me, but i've liked her for a long time, and i think the feeling is mutual. But the age difference causes a problem, especially with my parents. My addvice is, just lay off for a few years but stay frends. Its not like shes going any where. even though Veronica looks only a yeat younger than me, and she is oviosly more mature mentally, she is still 11 and im still 14. This has not affected our frendship and im still looking torward the day the age problem isn't a problem.

Me and Wes were 3 years apart...
Me and Joe were 4...
Me and Jay were close to 6...

Basically the point I kind of am trying to make is, if you feel the same about eachother age shouldn't matter. Just do what your heart tells you.

Not to ruin the subject, but forgotten, when the last guy u mentioned was 6 yrs older, how old were u. This is related to the topic: My sister is 15, her bf is 23. If that is "accepted" by society, I don't know why 13 and 16 wouldn't. When someone I know was 13, her bf was like 18, 19 somethin like that, and nobody complained. The only thing is, 16 looks a little older than 13, but other than that, its no big deal. My brother did the same thing, and he was cool, so go 4 it if u like her, but dont force notin on her.

Rumor is in my hood that my 15 sister is having a kid by 23 yr bf. No one cares. A girl down the street is 14 and the babys dad is rumored to be a 31 year old. No one cares, its common

I don't think this is so weird though some people may.... I am 13 and am about to go with an 11 year old. We're both in the same school level (middle), so it doesn't matter. As long as u take it slow, and like others have said "dont force or ask for it" and as long as you are happy, it doesn't matter. Now, if she was like, 10, that might be a problem, but ur both teens, so like, cool, go ahead!

Ok, first, when I had the boyfriend who was 6 years older than me, that was just last December (I was 13)... also 13 and 16 is nothing really to get really worked up over.

I dont think that three years difference matters, I mean My next door neighbors are like 40 and 32! But because there adults thats different. I dont think that it should matter and if your friends think your stupid for it, then it just goes to show how much of a friend they really are!

speaking of scientists they alctaully say.....yes people, scientists in while lab coats........that the perfect age for a woman to be for a man is half his age plus seven. so the perfect age of a woman for me would be 16, however that doesnt have any relevance to me............however just tohugh ti wud share that tidbit.
