I'm 13 and I love drawing anime on Miiverse. (A social network on my Wii U) Miiverse is awesome, I have over 3000+ followers, popular friends, and many fans. The thing is, I'm a great artist on Miiverse yet I'm not in real life and this makes me depressed. I'm a lot better at digital drawing than I am on real paper and I'm super critical of my drawings, plus I always compare them to drawings made by adults. People always say practice more, but when I actually start practicing on real paper I always notice every flaw and I erase a lot which make te paper look messy. Then I start crying and give up. (Cry baby) I used to love to draw in real life, but now I don't even find it somewhat enjoyable. One more thing: I really want to start a career in drawing, but I don't think I'm good enough. I'm so depressed... :help:

Oh, don't worry. :) You just need more practice with it. How did you master graphic computer art? You practiced and learned all the techniques to perfect at it. Apply the same attitude and will towards your physical sketches on paper. It's alright to take pride in your work and not accept lackluster results, but don't lose faith or hope in yourself. Don't quit that easy, I can tell this is something you are very passionate about.
Learn how to draw eyes, then faces, then clothing. Take your time and try to work on what you find the most difficult first so it can be simple for you. Be an original and find your own character and style. I wish the best for you and I am sure that you will succeed towards this hobby of yours. Don't let it affect your mental health, if you need to take a break, do it. Again, just do everything one by one and don't panic yourself. :)
