I would call it cheese and crackers. What it looks like to me is a whole grain Triscuit (Nabisco) cracker and brown Norwegian cheese (brunose).

They have pretty much the same texture as crackers, and resemble them, but the likeness stops there. ;) And that would indeed be brunost. xD

I love steel cut oats. I cook it in water and add the milk after. But I like it to have a little texture. I think what I make would be undercooked to call it porridge. But I have had it cooked to where it's creamy and that's good, too.

It usually ends up a bit grainy, so it's good, I enjoy that. There's a very fine line between where it's creamy and when it gets burned, and I don't want to push it. :P
