Does anybody else not like using condoms? I always did before my exboyfriend, but then we started going without because I am on bc. Now that we're not together anymore I need to go back to using them with guys I don't know but it is difficult to do that after experiencing sex without. Especially since I'm on the pill so pregnancy isnt a worry.

Its true that its better sex without condoms. But I dont think its not worth the risk especially with guys you dont know. I usually buy ribbed or sensation condoms cause anything is better than regular condoms.

I hate using condoms too. They always dry me out and make it painful if I do it for too long. It's not bad if it's relatively quick though. If I'm with a guy I know and trust I just skip them since I'm on the pill but if I don't know the guy well then I have to use one.

STDs are a possibility and pregnancy STILL is. Birth control is not 100% effective. Unless you want to have your legs splayed open and junk inspected because it has worts or pubic lice or some other weird thing, I'd strongly advise using protection. Also, AIDS is still a very real thing.

AFAIC, The topic should be more like "Condom or unplanned BABY??" If you or your bf doesn't like or use a condom, how are you protecting yourself?? Luck? Wishful thinking? My understanding is that for a girl, its not that different if a boy uses a condom or not. I would think I would feel even better if he DID wear one cause then i wouldnt have to worry. Pregnancy really isn't the main risk when not wearing a condom, you can have HIV for 10 years in some cases without developing the symptoms of AIDS, so just because he says he's fine doesn't necessarily mean he is. When you're in a long term relationship you should go and get checked for HIV before going without a condom. Basically, cover up when you go for a walk if you don't want to risk catching your death.

I think if it's somebody you know for sure doesn't have any STD's, and you're confident in the birth control you're using, it's okay. I think everyone should know the risks before considering it, though.
