Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby

I didn't see a thread for these new Pokemon games, so I decided to make one. I bought a 3DS XL today, and Alpha Sapphire to go with it. I played an ungodly amount of it today :lol3: Anybody else play them/have them? What do you think of them?

I'm really glad that they're more like the older Pokemon games, but still have new features that the news games have as well. The original Ruby and Sapphire games were my favorites, so I'm partial to these remakes from the start, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good Alpha Sapphire is. Can't wait to keep playing/beat it.

I have Alpha Sapphire and have played through the entire thing and absolutely loved it. I never played the original Sapphire and Ruby games, so it was completely new to me and wonderful. I want to get Omega Ruby for the legendaries and so that I can go through the game again, slowly. I rushed through Sapphire. :P

The original Sapphire was my first pokemon game so I couldn't resist buying AS - I haven't played much of it yet though !

Emerald was my first Pokemon game ever, so I was really looking forward to go back to Hoenn! Picked up Omega Ruby despite water being my favourite type and blue being my favourite colour, something about Omega Ruby just looked better.

(cough plus primal groudon is better than primal kyogre cough)

I bought Sapphire with some of my Christmas money and I love it so much. After a bunch of (in my opinion) disappointing games, it was nice to play something that threw me back a few years. I love these.
