Hi,

I am not sure if this is a known bug, or it's something wrong on my end, but I usually keep myself logged in while browsing through this site and also off the site. I can understand that you may have to log in every time that you come back to the site, but what I don't understand is why I am asked to log in several times while I am on this site being active. I'd be posting in one section of the forums and then try to respond to a post and a page will load saying that I need to log in because I am either not logged, don't have access to this part of the forums, or my account is under review, suspension or under activation.

This doesn't happen anywhere specific, it happens randomly on any page that I go to. It doesn't happen obnoxiously often, but it does happen about every time I am on this site from 3-5 times. Not sure why this is happening, so any help or ideas would be appreciated.

P.S. Is there a "Keep me logged in" feature?

Thanks.

It happens to me as well sometimes, usually when I'm using mobile data on my phone. This leads me to believe it's a cache or cookie thing, because when I use wifi, it's perfectly fine.

So I'd suggest trying to clear those.

And there is indeed a "keep logged in" tickbox; it is under the fields for username and password on the top right of the screen.

Hope that helped :)

You mean the "Remember Me" box? Because that's what I see on the top right hand corner. Or do you mean there is a "Keep me logged in" button when you get that page where it says access denied?

I think it's the "remember me" box. Sorry ^^;

Oh okay, not sure if that will keep me logged in though. I think the remember me feature just keeps your username stored in the username box so you just have to type in the password; at least that's what it does on any other program or site that I've seen it on.

I'll have to see later tonight, thanks :)

If any admin knows of this problem and a clear fix though, please do share the solution, I am going to try the cookies and cache thing later tonight after school.

(I swear it keeps you logged in; maybe I'm going insane here LMAO)

Hope it works ^^;

Both the remember me and keep me logged in boxes should keep you logged in.

It seems that there is an oddity with URL references. Opening links from certain applications and trying to use the 'Unanswered posts' link in the quick links seems to log you off, but it doesn't. You will actually be logged in with a separate pair of cookies on your browser. That would explain why the theme resets when you attempt to click that link.

Ah I see. And yes, I am still logged in from earlier today, so it does work. Thanks :D
