What is the best video convertor

WHat is the best video convertor, if posible, to download, otherwise, to buy

I use magic video converter...converts all movie files and also can do a direct transfer to your ipod etc. plus make a dvd menu system etc (very cool)

I can't really think off hand of any decent free video converters, As for buying like rok.my.sox said, it depends on what you want to convert.

I use Total Video Converter. I cant remember how much it was but I "purchased" it from thepiratebay

ok folks thanx for the advice, i downloaded the unregistered version of total video convertor, then searched google for the code to make it registered and it worked, i didnt have to pay a cent, yippie

I found a free one called SUPER. It looks like it can convert to all types of file types. I use it to convert to .mov for iPod.
