I'm a gay freshman and have been talking to a gay senior for a couple weeks. I want to ask him out. We've only talked on Facebook and never seen each other in person. How do I ask him out, without just saying "want to go out with me" :)

If you two have a lot in common or just fancy each other, just talk your way into that discussion. Kind of ease the question in, or meet him in person and ask him. It's a lot easier once you ask it.

Are there any school events that are coming up? Just tell him that you are going to a school rally or something like that and ask if he is going. If he says yes as well, then hint that you might run into him or whatever. If he isn't going, try to persuade him to. This isn't really a date, you just so happened to be going to an event and it just so happened he is interested as well.
If not, then just be creative about it. Say you want to go out for a drink or a snack after school and ask if he wants to go with you, again not really a date. Good luck. :)

Do u have anything in common with him? Except the fact that you're gay.

The best way to ask somebody out is by being direct about it. Beating around the bush is pretty unattractive to most people. People generally are attracted to confidence, whether they are aware of it or not. "Would you like to go out with me" or something if the like should suffice.

I'll meet him somewhere. We live an hour away from each other, but i'm sure I can get it to work.

This is a smart idea. I mean you did say you never seen, or at least, communicated in person...so I would suggest you actually try to socialize, in person, before you try to ask him out. You can always just send him a message saying, "Hey I'm going to *___* with *___*, you want to go?".. Or something like that, to make sure you and him are actually going to be able to be friends, because you haven't even socialized in person yet.

Well, meeting him in person first might be better as a suggestion. But really just ask him to go somewhere or do something with you and that will probably lead into something. I used to hang out with niners in senior year and it was funny how something as little as a grade can make people feel nervous and such. Odds are, it's much more simple than you think ;) just go for it.
