Showering in the gym with a friend

Every Friday me and my best friend go to the gym and have a shower after.. For some reason teens in my country commonly shower with their underwear on but I just go commando.
Every time I drop my pants I get on a semi or hard on. I want him to shower naked too so I can compare, he's seen mine so he knows I have a big package.. Any tips?

I used to shower after hockey when I played, when we all first started showering in middle school the same would happen to me (would get semi-hard) but eventually you just get used to it. I find that just forgetting about my own penis (sounds weird I know) helps. Him being naked or not is his choice so I don't think it'd be right for you to try to influence him one way or another

I never heard of showering in my briefs. We all change and shower naked together at my school. P. E. Class.

Are boys in Ireland shy about being naked? I am Irish too and we don't mind being naked front of other boys.

I would probably respect boundaries and other people's personal space. It's fine to be curious and find him attractive, but just shower and if by chance you do happen to peek or whatever, make it quick then don't ever mention of it again. Don't force him to do something like that.

Showering in underwear?... That's new! I don't think u should try and push him to shower naked with u, some people are just not comfortable being naked in front of others, maybe he's just not ready... So don't push him

while it is weird to shower in your underwear (well I get why people do it, even if I don't)there is no real good way to go about it. I guess you can make a case for hygienic, but honestly you don't want to make him feel weird or uncomfortable

I also used to shower in my underwear when I was showering with other people but now I'm more comfortable showering naked with other people. I don't think you should convince to shower naked, it is his body after all.
