I think they will with there new additions but others dont

lol what are you guaranteeing a World Series? 1 player, no matter how good they are, do not guarantee you the World Series. Tigers have proven that with Cabrera (and we have so much talent besides just him). The Angels have proven that with Trout and others. I could give you many examples of teams who have money and more than one good player but they still don't win.

maybe a wildcard, but your acting like they are already contending to win the division. Tigers, Royals, and Indians are ahead of you right now to win the division
