I have an uncle who does it, and a friend. I'd like to try one when I turn 18.

By passive I mean like special occasion smoking. I'm talking holidays, birthday, a special vacation. Something along those lines, Only a few times a year.

Do you guys know anyone who does it or do you do it yourself?

Just something I was thinking about and wanted your opinion. :)

My brother-in-law does it every once in a while.

Tbh, I'm a smoker, my ex is a smoker, it's a shit habit. Cigars are a bit better though.

smoking that infrequently should pose no serious risk. I say go for it.

although I have no real desire to smoke, once in awhile probably will not be the end of the world. I mean, you always run the risk of forming an addiction (it only takes once for many people) and while even the occasional is no healthy for you, I don't see a few a year causing significant damage (I am no doctor though)

if you are going to do it, at least you are sounding responsible going in :)

I don't but I have family who drink/smoke only on certain occasions.

My older sister and her husband drink wine like on a date night or something.
My cousin who smokes but at certain times.

Anyways yes I have some passive drinkers/smokers in my family.

Yeah, I did that and now I'm a chain smoker. A pack a day, literally. I'm mot even counting the cigarettes I gave to people on the street and the half-smoked ones I had to abandon due to the bus coming or something like that. By making it a habit, you increase the chance of an addiction.

A lot of my friends have moved from smoking cigarettes to Cigars, it's not as bad for you, but I still think it's stupid.

I smoke a cigar to commemorate the end of each running season I have (so basically end of fall and end of spring) and I also smoked a few cigars over the summer with my friends. You might find it is fun and enjoyable (as I think it is) but it probably doesn't pose a serious risk for developing an addiction.

Just be critical of your own decisions regarding such things and you should be fine.

I am 18 years old. When I first turned 18, me and my buddies would smoke cigars regularly. Once you do it for a while it gets old. So we may do it now once a month. In the future i will probably only do it on occasions. However, i do not feel it is dangerous if you do not inhale. they can be quite enjoyable if you do it on occassion... dont try it if you do not want to however.

I think cigars are a nice way to smoke with friends, but you have to be careful as you can get pretty sick pretty fast.
