View Full Version : Date at Home

Hey guys! I recently invited my BF over to hang out at my house. I've been over to his house plenty of times before, but this will be his first time over at mine (besides the few times he's come over to pick me up). I recently moved houses, so my house is still kind of disorganized and messy. On top of that a lot of our gaming stuff is still packed (and we're still in need of a new TV)! So I'm kind of anxious about what to do while he's over (which is probably silly).
Do you think just kind of cuddling on the couch and talking is okay? I have two guitars, and he know's how to play (I'm still learning), so we could probably play with those too. And if we get utterly bored we could always watch Netflix I guess or read homestuck (which we both love).
But does that sound like an okay date? Can you think of any ways to maybe improve it/make it cuter? What would your ideal stay at home date be like?
p.s. I'm so sorry I feel like I've been clogging up the relationship section with all of my questions recently!

Cuddling/talking would probably be nice. And I was also going to recommend watching Netflix/movies too. You could also listen to music, play board games... It can really be anything, as long as you both just enjoy spending time together regardless.
And I wouldn't feel bad about asking a lot of questions. I'm glad this site is here because there are always people willing to answer and help out, free of that kind of judgment.

That sounds pretty nice! I'm sure he will enjoy his time at your house!

Aww, how cute and simple. Yeah put on a nice movie and take it from there. If you guys end up being sidetracked in the background whilst the movie is playing, that's a bonus and to be honest, this is what you are aiming for. Put on netflix to break the ice and have some snacks. Then maybe other things will evolve from that. If they don't, it's fine at least you were able to spend time with him and he probably wasn't in the mood. Doesn't mean anything bad. But fingers crossed sparks fly and it ends up being a magical event for the both you.
Be safe and careful and use your imagination. Keep us updated and good luck. :)

That's adorable haha, he could help you play guitar, haha and you could attempt to make dinner together for your family

O_o I want this boy to keep liking me so I'm going to pass on that one!
But all the other ideas seem great! Thanks for helping me out, I'll be sure to tell you all how it goes :)

I saw this thread last night with 0 responses and I thought, hey I'll reply to it in the morning, and now there are like 6 responses. I usually tend to give very extensive answers, but everyone here did a really good job at answering your question. Take it from me, the people in this section of the forum love giving help and advice so the more questions the better :P

Just wanted to say that things went really nicely :)
We need up watching a movie, playing board games (which I won of course), and playing guitar/singing for each other. It was great, and hopefully we'll get to do it again sometime soon! Thanks again guys!
