I have no idea what forum this would be in, but here we go. I've heard of sleep paralysis, which basically means your mind is asleep while your body is awake, sometimes resulting in hallucinations and an inability to move.
About a week ago, I was lying in bed when I opened my eyes, and by the door of my room was some kind of robot. It was flat and circular and I rushed out of bed, looking around all the rooms for it.
Last night, it happened again, only this time the robot looked pink, like a child's toy might. I also think it was a different shape. It disappeared like the last one, and since I already had experienced it, I stayed in bed and fell back asleep.
I also don't think I was scared, since I had heard of sleep paralysis before, though I've never had it myself.
I don't know if I can move or not, since I didn't try, but I'm just wondering if you think that's what it is.

I don't really know if that could be sleep paralysis or maybe it's just hallucinations.

I've had an experience where my body was asleep and my mind was awake around 3 AM. I opened my eyes, and I heard giggles, then I felt like something was standing on my chest, like, something heavy, and then I saw a shadow in front of me. I tried to scream for my mom and kick but I couldn't. My body couldn't move at all. It lasted about five seconds and everything went fine after that. I usually get it once every month, but it has been happening very often, idk, maybe because of my depression?

I hope that helps.

Sleep paralysis is actually the opposite of what you described, when your mind is "awake" but your body isn't. It renders you incapable of moving. It can result in hallucinations, much like an awake-dream. What you're experiencing could just be dreams screwing with you or it could be sleep paralysis. Try moving if it happens again and see how your body responds, if it does at all.

Sounds like it. I used to have sleep paralysis all the time. I would be completely paralyzed and would feel something on me, or see someone else in the room. It usually lasted only a few seconds to a few minutes, but sometimes lasted much longer. It was terrifying, since that was before I knew what sleep paralysis was. I don't get it anymore, luckily.
