**Sorry if i rant on a bit i tend to do it a lot**
I reckon the world wold be a much better place if all the countries of the world joint together in a world alliance still have countries but have them follow certain rules kinda like the EU but on a much larger scale.
that way there would be no wars between countries because the would be going up against all the countries.
here are some of the rules that should be put in place in this world alliance
1) No Racism of any kind
2) No death penalty's (as some things are much worse than death)
3) Be nice
please feel free to add to this idea or telling everyone how you think the world would be a better place
Thanks for reading :)

that would be hard, there are many dictators in the world today and all they care about is their country, it will be the exact same as world war II, people will form a group (which USA formed at this time) and join it, it will go on for a couple of years till a dictator comes along, he/she will increase their military and start invading other countries, the more powerfull countries in the world will use appeasement (give them a little bit of what they want in order for them to stop) but this will fail, as they will always want abit more, this will go on and on and lead to another World War, this is really not the correct way to go... it will do the exact same as World War 2... difference being there will be no economic depression and no Treaty of Versailles (lol i love history GCSE)

The World A Better Place
The world would be a better place
If everyman cherished others
If every person took concern for there fellow brother
The world would be a better place
If the government realized what's best
If they realized that war doesn't determine who is right
It just determines who is left
The world would be a better place
If the society worked in unity
If the police did less arresting and tried to help the community
The world would be a better place
If the cost of living wasn't so much to earn
If childen realized how important it is to learn
The world would be a better place
If the world realized working together is the key
If the people say more us and less me
The world would be a better place
If people would be comfortable with their identity
If we can keep ourselves from being our own enemy
The world would be a better place
If the world realized self worth is missing
If the world realized one person can change anything
The world would be a better place
If people let there ego get a makeover
If the world used more manual labor and stop letting computers takeover
The world would be a better place
If every persons heart was as pure as a dove
If every person diminished the hate and embraced the love
The world would be a better place
If families stayed together
If families prayed together
The world would be a better place
If everyone didn't accept what's wrong and started to contest
If everyone realized life is about working together not a popularity contest
The world would be a better place
People started to give instead of receive
If people started to believe
The world would be a better place
Yes
The world would be a better place

How would a world alliance force tolerance and acceptance between conflicting groups when violence between them has occurred for so long?
This is years of conflict that can't be resolved by an external authority. Individuals and groups must resolve these conflicts.
A centralized authority is very dangerous. The power in the wrong hands with no means of changing it because of its strong centralization means bad for the people.
The key to stopping wars is for the people of nations to stop having their government inflict violence on others on their behalf.
Countries shouldn't answer to a world government but its inhabitants.

The thing is there are those people who thrive on conflict and evil. If those people were to be removed from the earth, then we might have a chance of peace and hapiness. But I don't see that happening.
Good thought to have though.

One big problem is that if there was a world-alliance, there would no doubt be many terrorist groups, and many people trying to gain power within the alliance. The sad truth is, there will always be SOMEONE who is malcontent, no matter what you do...
