Waxing My Bum

Hey, guys! I started to grow hair around my anal region a few years past, and I'm sure you agree that it's really annoying. I was just wondering if it's okay to have it waxed, what side effects does waxing have, if it hurts, and where I could have it done. I live in a conservative country, the Philippines, and I would more likely prefer answers coming from Filipinos. Anyone's answers are welcomed too.

Um, I think that hair is there for a reason. So I don't think you should shave it.

^ good point. But you CAN wax if you want. It's just a matter of preference. I've not heard of side effects except for one guy who had an allergic reaction to an ingredient within the wax. Only real side effects is the obvious bit of pain. But it is not that bad.

I have a stupidly hairy arse and shave the crack sometimes, just don't particular like it around my crack really thick.

i havent heard of any side effects from waxing, unless you are allergic to any of the ingredients in the wax, but its definitely not going to be a pleasurable experience -- that is a pretty sensitive area back there.

When you wax, make sure the wax is not hot.

You pull the strip the opposite direction (close to the skin), then apply a moisturizer of some sort.

Everything said here seems about right. I've never waxed, but shaving can yeild some pretty fair results, if you'd rather take that path.

I'm been thinking about going to get that area waxed. I do shave it occasionally, along with pinch and rip out hairs when I'm in the shower. I swear my crack wants be super hairy, and it is a pain in the ass.
