Hi guys.
I am new to this forum. I was circumcised last year for medical reasons. My glans became so desensitized that I have no sensation at all. I don't want to restore, so do anyone have any advice. Thanx.

I'm no expert but you are stuck with little sensitivity.

That's very troubling and fortunately is very unusual, but it doesn't help that it is unusual
if it happens to you.. I'm aware of one case reported in the medical literature where there was apparently some heavy psychological stuff involved. In that case the boy regained sensation after his mother died of breast cancer.

Can you go back to the doctor who did the circumcision and discuss the matter
with him/her? Do you still get erections? Either as a result of erotic thoughts, or
of stimulating by hand, or when you are sleeping? Actually there's no reason for
me to be asking questions since I'm not a doctor and have no expertise related to
the problem. You could explore with a finger tip all over your penis, the glans, the
circumcision scar, the underside where the frenulum is or was, and see if there
is any pleasant sensation anywhere.

I'm cut and I've a lot of sensations right there.

Maybe there is a relation with the reason you had to got the surgery. Why don't ask the doctor did the circum. to you?

And remember that the fact of being horny starts in the brain, not in the penis.

it happenes to everyone who gets circumcised. they all lose sensation. the foreskin protects the head from rubbing and keeps it moist and sensitive.

I'm not sure why this happens, since I am going on 2x years being cut and everything is just as great as before. Mine was by choice. Yours was medical? Can I assume phimosis? Maybe that has something to do with it.

I went to the doctor and explained my problem to him. He said that it is a common problem when a man get circumcised a bit older. The reason is a prolonged effect from the anastheasia they inject. You guys just don't know about it because you were to small when yours was done. I feel so much better and thanx for all who posted.
