So, I'm trying to lose weight. I'm 194 right now. My friend online used to be a trainer and he said to have 1479 calories a day and on that diet I can eat anything as long as I watch the calories. I'm working out using wii exercise games. I don't know how much exercise or what to do... I even started drinking water (not common for me). Today I've had a whole 2 liter bottle of water already

the amount of calories you should eat is in depends on your weight, eight, age, gender and level of activity. If you don't mind giving me your age and height AND how long do you exercise a day, i could tell you precisely (well almost) how many calories you have to eat a day.
With that said, you can't eat anything with thoses calories, if you eat 1500 calories of snicker bars, you will maybe lose weight but you'll lose muscle mass instead of fat. If you want to lose fat, you have to eat more complete foods, you need carbs, fibers and protein, and avoid as much as possible bad fat an sugar.
