This may sound really dumb but it's really annoying. So from maybe Thursday last week, my stomach has rumbled constantly, even after doing the usual eat a snack/drink some water/chew gum. I also feel hungry a lot even after eating a snack. For example today, I had a large bar of chocolate + some crisps but I felt hungry and had stomach growls almost 15 minutes afterwards.

The reason I am asking this is because I am forced to push my stomach in, in lessons, (not good I know) to prevent the noises as it's hella embarrassing.

About 5ft8, Athletic build, Brother is 6ft4 and about 110kg if that is useful at all.

You could just be growing! Or maybe you're not eating nutritious enough food? You'd be surprised the amount of food teenagers need to keep going, especially tall teenage boys (which you are). My advice would be to listen to your body, and try eating a little more!

^ I agree with her. It's probably growth. It's happened to me a few times

Try to eat things that have more nutritional value, with vitamins and minerals and protein and such. Your body probably just needs more to run off of than it used to and make sure you aren't just kinda throwing stuff into it, the reason it's probably grumbling is it feels deprived of what it actually needs.

Thing about snacks is they rarely work to assuage hunger pangs. On the contrary-they acerbate them if they're not filling enough for your body. With snacks you either need to take something filling enough to settle your stomach or just skip the snack.

Aside from all the other things said above, are you eating really fast? It can take you 20 minutes to feel full even if you've eaten plenty, that's actually why so many people eat too much. Try slowing down your eating and drinking lots of water.

Try fruit and and proper meals then snack less. Maybe cut out the gum.

If you must snack then smaller snacks more often but I know its a drag at school and I do rush snacks just to fit in with breaks.

UGH for me it's just a result of my filthy obnoxious puberty hunger.
Sometimes when I haven't aten in a while, I'm just sitting in class and everyone's quiet and suddenly my stomach kind of moans, lol.
