Well, it's kinda different for everyone. I feel like you know when you're in love, at least most of the time. It's about more than your feelings for the other person, but the way you treat them as well. Love is a verb :)

I think I was in love once (and it wasn't with my ex boyfriend). It was with a different dude back in 2012, and I felt.......happy, but in a unique way, when speaking with him. It made me feel good. I didn't feel that way when I dated my actual boyfriend. Maybe we just didn't click as well? Idk.

Right. It's different for everyone. To me, I'd think about the person too many times a day and at totally random moments. When I wake up or do a math test or watch youtube or in the shower somehow my mind wanders to him<3

do you get butterflies when you talk to him on the phone?
do you feel all nervous like when you are with him?

these are just a few identifiers for me, maybe they are for you as well.

I will say love is a feeling YOU have towards another person. Don't be confused if another person doesn't return those feelings or the other person has those feelings. It's what you deeply feel towards that person. You will want to give that person the world. You can't picture yourself in the future without that person. You would die for that person if ever put in a situation.

But again, that's my perspective of love. Some perspectives may be different than mine.

but sometimes, we thought that love is similar to care.
care is something that you can just give to anyone. for your friends, pets, family, and even strangers.
but love? it's something that even though you've seen their worst part/ flaws , you love them even more. No matter how many times they've let you down, you still forgive them simply because you never want to lose them.

but the most important thing of all , it can change you to become the best or worst person you can be.
