How many close friends do you have?

How many close friends do you have? People you can trust with anything? They can be real life friends or internet friends (not that there is any real difference in this day and age)

I have 4 close friends, Billy, Ewan and Tom. and Yasmeen.

In real life, somewhere between three and five, maybe. Online, two, but neither of them have been talking to me recently, so I'm not too sure about that.

Though we are growing apart, I am really close to three of my high school mates, Giovanni, Gustavo and Othon, but we barely talk since neither of us are fans of internet messaging and prefer to keep everything IRL. I'm extremely close to Matheus, my "neighbour" (parent's apartment building) and was close to Paulo, but it's been almost two years since I've talked.

I tend to have friendships as "we laugh but we're still strangers" or "we're best mates now" in an almost binary fashion with very few people in between.

I have one really close friend that I trust with everything, and also someone else I have been dating for over a year who I also trust pretty well. Online, I try to be friends with a lot more people and I am more open - I probably trust more people that I talk to here to be honest.

It depends.

If you count people I'm now distant/somewhat distant with but still can occasionally share certain problems with as close friends, I've got 10-15. But I talk to MAYBE two or three on a monthly basis.

If you count people I interact with a lot, and can tell anything, I've got 0. I can't even talk to Charlie half the time anymore (which really bugs me)

I'd like to think that I'm just being dumb here and turning into a recluse, or that I'm being ignored because I'm busy, but I'm pretty sure people are mostly just getting tired of me, which sucks.

I mean, I know half my friends are like I am- terrible at initiating conversations, kinda introverted, not great at seeking people out, etc., so I'm not accusing ALL my food friends of getting sick of me, I'm sure it's just a combination of things

But I feel like with my three closest friends, I've just pissed them off or something, and I hate that. You can't be "neglecting the friendship" when you try to send them messages and they don't respond/end the conversation quickly.

I have really only one friend I can consider a close friend which is my real life best friend. He knows pretty much anything I think and feel, even when I don't tell him. If I'm pissed at him or he is pissed at me, we will tell each-other why we are pissed, work out what problem we have, and go on with life just like that.

There's 3 or 4 other people too, but we don't really click as great as Zoe and I do.

I'm shy but I trust too easily.. A LOT of my friends (whether close or notsoclose) knows about my problems, I really don't have that much secrets kept between me and mes amis. I've got around 15-20 close friends. I'm probably not wise but I trust the lot:)

I have probably 8 or so friends that I would trust with anything. 3 of them i would trust with my life. I grew up with them before Middle School. The rest I have been friends with all through HS who are on my team. Anyone of them would be there for me in a heartbeat and vice versa.

Close friends? pfffft!! they don't exist to me anymore, only one guy from my group of friends is still a close friend, my other "close friends" are as good as gone, one of them has a baby(with my ex, still don't understand how crazy he is to be with her but fair enough), one of them is expecting a baby(with my cousin), so he is hardly about any more, and the other close friend I had just wants to sit in his bedroom all day everyday playing his fucking xbox.

This number is constantly changing but as of late I don't really have anyone who I would trust with anything and everything going on in my life. I'm more of a very closed off person, and I have different people I can tell different things, but not one person I can tell everything :(
