Ok so I've heard about all these paranormal like activities that are frequently happening in the State of Louisiana.
All these weird lights in the sky that suddenly disappear.
These strange creatures caught on hunting cameras.
The weird monster like animal in a certain lake.

And it got me wondering why it's only Louisiana.
It's just strange and got me wondering.

No one knows what's really going on.

What's your view on the paranormal activity?

It's all bullshit.

Well, I have lived in Louisiana my whole life and never seen any paranormal activities so I'd say it's all just bullshit, dunno.

Why would stuff like that just take place in Louisiana anyway? I mean there are stories about ghosts or aliens or whatever nonsense from all over the world.

I would not put too much stock into it

these kinds of reports are mostly BS and people seeing planets and planes and somehow imagine them to be flying saucers need to get familiar with Occam's Razor.

however, assuming that at least a few of these reports describe a legitimate sighting of a UFO, one that was undeniably something other than a commercial/known military aircraft, satellite or Venus, it would most logically be some sort of classified experimental craft belonging to a major government (and not necessarily that of the country in which the UFO was spotted). the US military almost definitely operates some nifty Star Wars shit that they're not telling us about, and why would they? those assassin drones you keep hearing about are basically bottle rockets compared to some of the top secret swag the NSA has cooked up back there in R&D.

Every region and every country has their own times and areas of superstition and mass hysteria.
If anything, it gives an interesting view on what a country's people truly fear (Like american people fearing unidentified flying objects, being so military)

Hoaxes, wishful thinking, imagination, optical illusions, explainable phenomena....take your pick.

I Beleive in extra terrestrials and spirits. Hell I nver thought of but I supposed Sasquatch could be real.

I mean look at all the goddamn planets in this huge ass universe and tell me there is no chance at all for something to be here.

How ever something's I beleive are military. My great uncle was a head security guy for the government. He'd get called away at random times to Nevada and all the stereotypical government places and be gone for random amounts of time.

True! But actual experience will speak for it.

These are all fake in my opinion, it's always the same. "Oh look a UFO, quick! Grab the worst camera you can find so it doesn't look like it's fake". I'm pretty sure all of these things can be explained, and that there are no lizard people taking over the earth. Hopefully.

I suspect Ali to be behind some of the occurances :P

It's not only LA. It's everywhere. Most of It I think is overexaggeration, fasle memories, etc... the world is actually pretty boring.

I'm sure a good amount of it is total BS. I only believe in paranormal things to an extent - most of it is wishful thinking or hoaxes, however I have heard several things that I have been unable to explain away. I work at a living history museum and sometimes I hear things in one of the houses where several people have died. Most of the things I've heard, other employees heard too. I still think most 'paranormal' experiences or whatever are total BS. I'm very torn on this kind of thing.

You have a very good point, Hannah.
And I'm like you, I don't believe in the crazy stuff, but rather the certain things like you pointed out. Most of it is complete BS, but some stuff still gets my mind thinking. Now one story I've heard, is strange livestock killings around the U.S..
And not just Louisiana.(The reason this thread is based on Louisiana is because I'm focusing directly to that state specifically for now. There are some paranormal, well not only paranormal but strange things, that do happen there)
The strange livestock killings which have happened around the U.S. is very odd. A lot of cattle found dead in the mornings, with the carcass literally destroyed in a way that no one has ever seen before. A way that no other recorded animal killing could match it. And it can't be a man harassing farmers because it's happening all over. And the farmers have no idea until they wake up and get started for the day.

But that's another story. Anyways that was a very good post, Hannah.

There are somethings that there is just no answer. So, what do you call those situations?

One thing I do believe is....some things aren't supposed to be known. That's all I can say in reply to your post.

awwww....contrary to popular belief - I am not exactly a voodoo queen.

Having spent most of my childhood in southern Louisiana - I have never seen anything I would consider supernatural at all. I think the New Orleans area and "swamps" have been just so fictionalized (movies, books, etc) over time that people just expect a lot of that stuff to be true.

It's not because there is no scientific explanation yet, it means it necessarily has to be paranormal.

Absolutly this.
Ill probably get arrested for this cuz obama gets pissy, but sometimes you have to wonder what would happen if "we the people" fought to get back to "of the people, for the people" if you know what i mean. What kind of scary shit would we find in the back of some restricted warehousse or secret underground base?

There are evidance that soviet uniun shot down UFOs abd studied them. Some will even go as far to say that some alien pilotes survived.
